Release 1.01
Balance
- Increased spawn timers by 2-3x to both reduce how often enemies spawn but also make it more likely to clear a room temporarily.
- Increased Hero attack radius.
Bugfix
- Add support to rebind controls
- Note: Controllers can be used in gameplay but they don’t work in menus. Therefore there’s only minimal controller support.
- Add additional game options: Show/Hide compass and Show/Hide crosshair.
- Add Attenuation to some sounds to make them affected by direction and distance.
- Fix issue where menu-related sounds and doors didn’t follow the SFX volume setting.
- Fix issue where the mouse sensitivity is reset when picking up an item.
- Fix issue where spamming the Interact button would cause the last half of the animation to reset.
- Fix issue where some of the Hero’s stats didn’t transfer between levels.
- Fix issue where the currently equipped weapon gets duplicated multiple times when transferring between levels.
- Fix numerous issues with the Settings not loading or saving properly.
- Update UI to support 4:3 resolutions.
- Update Inventory to have better item preview and show the currently equipped weapon.
- Update credits to add modification notes to assets.
Possible Fix
- Modified how often enemies check if they can attack, which may fix an issue where the enemy attacks the air repeatedly.
Noted Issues
- Hitboxes for enemies are inconsistent with their models, however due to how enemies are set up this isn’t easily fixable. To remedy this, Hero attacks are more forgiving and there’s an option to use a crosshair in the options.
- There’s a chance the UI will glitch out when multiple status effects are enabled/disabled. This is only a visual bug, it has no effect on the actual status effects the Hero currently has.
